弗兰克•威廉•沃尔班克（F. W. Walbank，1909-2008），生前为利物浦大学名誉退休教授、不列颠学会会员。曾在剑桥大学的彼得豪斯学院（Peterhouse）学习古典学，从1951年到1977年间，一直是利物浦大学的古代史和古典考古学的拉思伯恩（Rathbone）教授，他也是匹兹堡大学访问学者、加州大学伯克利分校的访问学者、普林斯顿高级研究院的成员。其出版的著作包括《马其顿的腓力五世》、《波里比阿》、《有关波里比阿的历史注释》（3卷）、《可怕的革命》（与N. G. L. Hammond合著）以及《马其顿史，公元前336-前167年》（第3卷）。他也是《剑桥古代史》第7卷、第8卷的主编之一。
